Also, check out that insanely gorgeous changing pad cover. My partner in crime, Alex, DIYed that bad boy for me following this changing pad cover tutorial and it is absolutely perfect in the room. She says it was pretty easy! The fabric coordinates so well. You'll see when we finally finish the nursery in it's entirety and I can post pictures! Till then, the dresser is a pretty good teaser don't you think?

Welcome!
Hi everyone and welcome to Farmhouse Wild!
I just wanted to give you a quick rundown of who I am and what I'm hoping will become of this little blog I've started!!
My name is Ashley and I'm 27 rounding the bend to 28 with my second baby (a girl!) due in just 2 short months. My first born turns 3, coincidentally on the day his baby sister is due. We suck and Abstinence August was a total bust, pun intended ya'll. A little more about me, I'm a Southern Baptist raised, private school girl, turned full on liberal feminist (sorry mom). A new running fiend (Holla-13 minute miles). I'm also a breastfeeding, baby wearing, cosleeping bad ass who *gasp* does not claim the attachment parenting label. Semi-crunch, with a healthy dose of reality and a healthier dose of one serious sugar addiction. A homesteading mama with 9 egg laying chickens and one big garden lot to prove it. Lofty, secular homeschooling goals that we change our mind on every other day. Wife to the best renovation master alive who took on his biggest project (besides our relationship 10 years ago) when we bought our 1952 massive farmhouse reno. I'm a self proclaimed diy wanna be master. AKA, everything I touch does not turn to gold but that doesn't stop me from trying! I love all things decorating with a strong lean towards bright, fun colors and lots of vintage distressed charm. I've never been one to hold back an opinion even though I often don't know what the hell I'm talking about. I wear a lot of coats and overall think maybe some of you will be able to relate to this crazy thing we call our life. So thank you for stopping by Farmhouse Wild! I hope I've given you a brief glimpse of what's to come. Be sure to check back soon for a ton of really fun things including our maternity shoot, nursery reveal and my attempt at some uhhh-dorable baby blankets!
Have a great day guys!
Ashley
